News: 2008 ICT Event

TeraNova will be exhibiting on Stand H12 at the biannual European ICT Event in Lyon on 25th to 27th November 2008.

The ICT Event is the most important forum for discussing research and public policy in information and communication technologies at European level. The Event brings together researchers and innovators, policy and business decision-makers working in the field of digital technologies.

TeraNova will be exhibiting a large array of terahertz (THz) imaging and sensing systems. Its quantum cascade laser system can see through envelopes and packaging to reveal hidden items, such as drugs and explosives. Its broadband demonstrator system employs a new approach to quality control in the semiconductor industry.

On display will also be cutting-edge laser systems that produce ultra-short, near-infrared pulses for the generation of THz radiation. Videos will demonstrate THz methods for determining the strength of alcoholic beverages, liquid explosives concealed in plastic bottles, the quality of meat products, as well as THz biotech applications.

TeraNova will also showcase the components it has developed for the generation and amplification of THz radiation.
